Last February, not even a month before my 29th birthday, I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer.
September is Thyroid Cancer Awareness month. Until now, I have chosen to be quite private about what myself, family, and close friends witnessed and supported me through this past year. But it’s meow or never.
This is my start to a small, personal campaign that I plan to grow into something larger than life. Inspired by my passion for design, my experience, the want to make light of a very traumatic situation, and my lack of a thyroid, check it out: http://whatthyroid.com/
My goal is simple. Raise awareness in a creative way about a rising cancer diagnoses, found most commonly in women. I’m taking this as a chance to share my story, Quentin Tarantino style.
Follow along. It just might benefit you or someone you know. Read my story. Share this. Ask me questions! Spread the word and please, PLEASE, check your lovely little necks!
Shout out to @lydiajoyness Thank You so much for talking to a complete stranger through desperate time. i inly hope i can be just as inspirational to someone else as you are to me 💜
